Yes, ABSOLUTELY, we only use water-based paints.  There are no lead or pthalates.  The permanent paint used is safe for kids, pets, and the rest of the planet.

We use a high temperature water based paint that is permanent and safe.  It will NEVER melt, burn, fade, peel, drip, crack, bubble, smoke, smell, off-gas, or catch fire, EVER!  When our hand painted Mood-Light Bulbs eventually burn out, they make fantastic ornaments, suncatchers, hummingbird feeders, watering globes, etc.

3-5 years is the average life with 8 hrs of daily use. We use the longest lasting light bulbs available on the market today, which are the same long life, low energy light bulbs that we have been painting for 18 years.

Yes, we check each and every light bulb before we ship it to you. Each light bulb is guaranteed for 1 year but they typically last 5-10 years.  Our light bulbs feature a heavy-duty commercial grade tungsten filament.

We use long life, low energy 25 watt Light Bulbs.  A low wattage Light Bulb works best to cast the colors onto the walls.  A brighter light washes out the color.  With a low wattage Bulb, it may be used without a shade so that the painting projects around the room, and is the perfect amount of light for mood lighting or a night light.

Yes!  Under any style of plain white lamp shade, the colors and image appear on the shade itself.  Try Mood-Lights in Paper Lanterns, Wall Sconces, Torchieres, Frosted Glass Globes, and Fabric Shades.

With out a shade the paintings cast onto the walls and ceiling.

Mood-Lights fit into any standard base socket (E26) including but not limited to:  floor lamps, table lamps, ceiling fixtures, wall sconces, porch and patio lights, pendants, vanity fixtures, etc.

Used with any plain white lamp shade, the painting will project onto the shade itself. Without a shade, the image and colors show on the walls and ceiling.

We encourage you to repurpose burned out Mood-Lights since the paint is still good.  They can be easily turned into ornaments, sunchatchers, watering globes, or hummingbird feeders.
